Everything but the Necromancer class is free for those that own the game.Announced at BlizzCon last year, much to the surprise and joy of Diablo II fans everywhere, the Necromancer class is now available to play in Diablo III with the release of the Rise of the Necromancer Pack for PC and Consoles. Add to that a few new sets of class-specific armor that boost certain gameplay builds and you end with a great new class able to reap through hordes of enemies.Īlong with the Necromancers, patch 2.6.0 also brings some new features, like Challenge Rifts, a couple of new zones, The Moors and The Temple of the Firstborn, and four new Waypoints with bounties to complete in Adventure Mode. Necromancers are still the masters of death, and they use bones, blood, corpses, undead servants and curses to fight against the demonic forces from hell, but their abilities and spells are completely different and they bring to the game many new gameplay options and interactions. Now it´s the turn for one of the favorite classic classes from Diablo 2, the Necromancer, but this class is completely different from his previous incarnation. Although the game has been updated quite a few times with free content and changes through several updates, this is the first time Blizzard is releasing paid content for the game after the launch of Reaper of Souls expansion back in 2014, and the addition of the Crusader class as well as a new chapter for the game story.
